Padres Win

May was a great month if you're a Padres fan as they set a team record 22-6 month. June has been quite a different story. We're nearly half way through June and there have been only a couple wins. Fortunately for me, I was at one of these wins.

The Pads were so happy with the win, they began celebrating like they'd just won the Pennant. This shot was taken as Fick was jumping on top of the pile of players celebrating between 2nd and first bases after Damian Jackson drove in the winning run on a single with the bases loaded. Fick was one of those that got a hit to load the bases.

Woody Williams Pitches

I went to the Padres vs. Cubs game with a group of colleagues from work. We had seats in the nosebleed section, sort of behind home plate, but a little toward left field. This gave me a different perspective on the field than I usually have from our season ticket seats. It also gave me the opportunity to take this top-down photo of Woody Williams pitching.

The downside of this outing though was that the Padres lost -- to the cubs no less. Also, this was my second loser in a row I've attended -- the first 2 losses I've been at all year. Every other game I've gone to has been a win.
